Tapahuga

They are front line beach apartments

The Apartamentos Tapahuga are in Playa de Santiago, a village in the south of La Gomera. They are front line beach apartments, open the whole year.

La Gomera, with a surface of 378 Km2, is the second smallest islands of the seven Canary Islands.

La Gomera is located in the northwest of Africa and only 30 Km away from Tenerife; surrounded by Tenerife, La Palma and El Hierro and belongs to Spain.

This island is of volcanic origin, and due to the lack of volcanic eruptions during the approximately last 2 million years, the orography is very particular and shows distinct reliefs as: spectacular rocks, deep ravines, towering cliffs, valleys and beaches.

The Garajonay peak (1487 m) is the highest point of the island. The Garajonay is located in the National Park Garajonay, named a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986.

The island’s climate is mainly determined by its geographic situation and other factors (trade winds).

An ideal climate: mild in the coastlines and sunnier in the south, with an annual average temperature of 22ºC, and more humidity in the north and high zones.

The extraordinary natural richness of the island invites all the nature lovers to enjoy it.
